Yeah, I haven’t been able to post anything on here this week. Been fairly busy at work and with other things in life. Oddly enough today is my least favorite holiday, Halloween. And weirdly enough I am pressed up for it. Okay not dressed up in the sense that I went all out on a costume and spent way too much money like most people do for this day.

No, I am Dr. Gregory House from the hit TV drama House. Yeah, it is a very easy costume. I wear pretty much what I wear on a daily basis; jeans, button-up shirt, athletic looking shoes. I found the cane at a party store for $2 and thought it was a decent idea when Becca suggested it. Much better than buying a political mask and being Bill Clinton for a day.

Maybe if I get a photo of myself tonight I will post it later on here.

This story has two meanings. I voted in the General Election a couple days ago via absentee ballot. AND I voted just today for Major League Soccer’s post season awards. Kind of neat/weird getting an email the other day saying I was able to vote as a member of the media for those awards. I guess covering the game through my soccer blog has paid off to some extent.

Below are my picks. They will be on the soccer blog sometime next week once the season is officially over and the voting ends. I feel safe posting them here since I doubt anyone comes here! 🙂

And if you wanna know who I voted for in the other election you will just have to wait. Then again I am not too thrilled with that vote so I don’t know! Read more

Congrats are in order to Sarah and David St. Louis today. They found out that they are expecting a little baby boy (soon to be named Ryan Matthew St. Louis). Yay for baby Louie and his happy parents-to-be. I know Becca and her family are excited for another baby to be on the way here.

And I was right on my prediction of them expecting a “dude.”

And again with Becca, Sarah and David

…that I should have done a long time ago.

Captioning photos in my photo gallery. Yup, give me some time, I hope to caption them all in my spare time here. I got Rigby’s gallery done (for now until I add more). Hopefully I can knock more out this week.

EDIT:Got about 1/3 of the way through here. Some of the bigger albums will take some time. Also, the captions aren’t all that great but at least its something.

I usually don’t enjoy too much of what Saturday Night Live does anymore but I found this clip today and thought it was hilarious.

At least according to this little survey (takes like five to 10 minutes to complete). I was fairly even all across the board in how I learn.

Then again I have always been a balanced learner. I remember getting tested for this kind of thing back in grade school and I was even across the board like this.

Anyways it was fun to do again even though the questioning is a little odd to me. A lot of answers come up as “Sometimes” for me.

Ah, ever since my old laptop died back in the early part of summer I have been waiting around for a new update to Apple’s notebook line. Today they updated with lots of new goodies. I really want one but will probably have to wait another month or two.

Is it really that hard for us all? I mean if little kids can figure out who they want in the Oval Office then why can’t we?

My favorite is the little blonde kid with glasses. Then again they are all cute.

Wow, not to bad for a sports fan like myself to go from the 25th best sports city in America to the third best. I know Dallas is a good sports town, though the third best is a little high in my opinion based on what I’ve seen out of people here.

But for Morgantown to be in the top 25 because of WVU is awesome. The only other college town that comes above Morgantown was Lawrence, Kansas, which is home to Kansas University.

Pretty cool, pretty cool.
